Applicable taxes on room rates
Good and Services Tax (GST): 5.0% (per room, per night - not included in room rate)
Quebec Sales Tax (QST): 9.975% (per room, per night - not included in room rate)
Lodging tax: 3.5% (per room, per night - not included in room rate).
All taxes are subject to change.

Reservation deadline
Reservations must be received by the Congress Secretariat NO LATER THAN August 26, 2013.  Availability and room rates are not guaranteed after this date.

Reservation Guarantee
A credit card guarantee is required to make a reservation (Visa and MasterCard only). Reservations received without a credit card will not be processed.

Early departure
Should the guest check out prior to the confirmed departure date, a per room, per night ‘early departure’ fee could be applicable and varies according to the hotel.

Changes
All hotel reservation changes must be sent to the JPdL International – World Parkinson Congress 2013 Housing Bureau in writing only at Housing@worldpdcongress.org.

Cancellation policy
All cancellations of hotel reservations must be sent to the JPdL International – World Parkinson Congress 2013 Housing Bureau in writing no later than August 26, 2013.
After August 26, 2013, the first night deposit will NOT be refunded.
After August 30, 2013, the full stay will be charged by the hotel.

Important notices:
Subject to all applicable taxes, currently 5% GST, 9.975% QST, and 3.5% lodging tax.
Rates quoted in Canadian funds and on a per room per night basis.
Rates applicable 3 days prior to and 3 days after the meeting but subject to availability.
Room rates are not guaranteed after August 26, 2013.
Breakfast is NOT included in the rates, except for the following hotels: Embassy Suites by Hilton Montréal, Le Dauphin Montréal Centre-Ville, Holiday Inn Express et Suites Montréal Centre-Ville, and Travelodge Montréal Centre.
